With few pumps you will get essence that will be slightly oily, but still feels watery enough to hydrate while nourishing. Its texture feels very refreshing on the skin, spreads around quickly and absorbs without any effort. You are left healthy glowing skin that feels comfortable to the touch, nourished, brighter and toned. Depending on your skin type and condition there is a possibility you won't need any additional moisturiser afterwards. This cocktail will be plenty enough and something that will even be suitable under you makeup. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to add a certain boost to their skincare regimen, is getting used to the skin oils (as it is great starts with it lightness), who feels like the seasonal change is getting to their skin.  

As you know skin care changes, depending on the skin's needs, seasons and on us who need to change it ever so often. New things are exciting, especially trying out new skin care! In this post I have gathered all the items I have used regularly, even between trying new things. These have been staples, some of them longer, some of them not so long... yet these seem to be working for me. Also stay tuned for many skin care posts in the future where I can introduce you to the new and maybe more exciting skin care products that make the cut, but aren't necessarily staples yet. 

Good skin starts with cleansing and I like to do it very deeply. So I have been using Organic Surge Daily Care Refreshing Face Wash, it is the one gentle enough not to strip the skin, yet gets everything clean. It is even safe to use it around the eyes to remove the eye makeup. I have used it on and off for a very long time and it has to be my all time favourite. To get the deeper and better cleanse I use the face wash with Clarisonic Mia that has also been around for years. Its brush heads change depending on the season, current skin needs, right now it is operating with the Deep Pore Brush Head to get the most detoxifying cleanse, cleaner pores and smoothest skin. I have heard mixed reviews on Clarisonic, but I have nothing bad to say about mine... you either love it very much or hate it. I can't even imagine going without it. Of course you can get great skin with many good exfoliants, but this makes your skin different kind of smooth and clean, that can't be described as long as you haven't tried it. Best investment ever! 

After cleansing I am using Organic Surge Daily Care Orange Flower Toning Water smells divine, clarifies, balances and leaves it very soft. Some people, even some cosmetologists think toner is unnecessary as long as you use pH balanced face wash. I have news to you... your face wash can be good, but your tap water probably isn't and it is the last thing you put on your face when rinsing. There were times where I didn't get the purpose of the toners, now I can never skip it and my skin feels a lot better. 

Face mask wise I have stayed loyal to two of them. Vestige Verdant Organic Mask I have reviewed in here. So I will be short. It is one of the masks that is multi-tasking: it cleanses, stimulates, fights with ageing and imperfections while leaving it smooth and nourished. Other one is Lumene Glow Reveal 60 Second Facial which is another multi-tasking mask. This clay based product has properties of exfoliant, purifier and brightener by containing clay, lactic acid and natural oils. Now they carry it in the new packaging, but the product in its own goodness stayed the same.

About weekly or as needed I am using some kind of treatment on my face. I just apply it during night time under right after cleansing and toning before moisturising. BioNike Acnet Cream prevents any spots, impurities and treats them quickly. Applied on problem areas only, it won't dry skin out or irritated it at all. Glycolic acid along with salicylic acid create the perfect combination to combat any clogged pores, blemishes and keep the unwanted dead skin away. Dermalogica Skin Renewal Booster that is quite expensive, but you only need a drop of it as it is concentrate to use with your moisturiser on under it. Containing exfoliating lactic acid, salicylic acid and hisbiscus extract this product much more gentle than Acnet Cream, even suitable for dry skin. I promotes natural exfoliation to get rid of dullness and get improved texture. I use it mainly for smoother texture, more even skin and overall skin renewal. Even after one use skin feels a lot smoother and clearer.

Final step in skin care is nourishing. Before that I sometimes apply You & Oil Ki Acne to any rashes, blemishes or spots. It is blend of essential oils that spot treats and heals in a natural way. They do carry different blends for different problems and purposes. Before any moisturiser or serum comes eye cream. At least in my book, because you would't put your clothes on before your underwear, would you? MOSSA Restoring Eye Cream has been with me for a while now. It has blackberry omega 3-9 complex along with many other flower waters and natural extracts that moisturise, brighten and smooth perfectly. To get the natural glowing tan that doesn't appear heavy like self-tanners do, I occasionally add few drops of Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster into my serum or moisturiser and end up with naturally glowing skin tone. When it comes to nourishing I am alternating between two oil based face serums. They are both wonderful, but have different tasks. Terre Verdi Balancing Facial Serum is like a miracle worker when skin is dehydrated, but can also get problematic and unbalanced. It treats special needs skin gently and with respect, giving it the right oil balance and keeping impurities at bay. You & Oil Nourish and Energise Vitamin Serum is a lot richer and comes into play when skin is drier or as a night treatment. As it really is like food for your skin, you will get smoother, plumper and hydrated face. It is also recommended to use it 1-2 cycles a year not to overfeed the skin. 

Gressa is a brand that makes wonderful products from natural makeup to skincare with very few 'au naturel' ingredients inside of them. The most impressive one for me has been Renewing Polish for your beautiful face. Ingredients wise it is simple, yet effective when it comes to its actions. This honey-based product gently exfoliates, brightens, clarifies and moisturises like one good facial treatment should do. Synergy between rice enzymes, alpha hydroxy acids and vitamin C will work its magic in order to give smoother, brighter and hydrated skin after every scrub session with it. Because its very fine non-abrasive texture it is like a microdermabrasion, but in a natural way.

I sometimes use it daily and it won't dry my skin out or make it sensitive. I will give my skin a gentle scrub and let it sit on it 5-10 minutes to get even deeper exfoliation. Honey makes it a perfect exfoliating face mask and all the other goodness combined with it gives it even more power. 

My pores are always appearing smaller, any blemishes appear a lot calmer, dead skin all gone. I despise using makeup when I see the flaky around my face after applying it. Many times I pass on it when my skin feels dehydrated or dry on same areas. This helps to combat everything that is unwanted or may annoy you on your face. Every product afterwards glides on like a butter. My personal tip is to use it as a lip scrub whenever exfoliating face. It is a treat for the skin indeed!

JOIK Anti-Age line is one of their newest ones on their quite wide skincare department. Products themselves aren't particularly new though, just new to me. Whenever I used their regular skincare before I was quite satisfied with it and didn't even think about switching. Now the time has begun and I have many things to say about these two beautiful bottles in front of you. 

JOIK Rejuvenating Night Cream with key ingredients of hyaluronic acid, vitamin B3, echinacea extract, bilberry extract, ginger extract, dandelion juice, primula veris,  mallow, lady's mantle, greater plantain, and yarrow extracts, mango butter, hemp seed oil, evening primrose oil. What a long list of goodness! Usually I don't include full active ingredient list into my blog posts, but with this particular one I feel proud. Having tried and tested many, many natural skin care products, I haven't stumbled upon contents so unique and relevant to my home country. This is what JOIK has done, included plant extracts that are local, describe our nordic climate and plants. Imagine my joy when I first got around using this night cream, I immediately got nostalgic and recognised the scent of childhood dandelions. 

The cream itself is thicker and feels very concentrated, so really small amount goes a very long way. It may feel greasy to some kin types, but this is where noticing the amount you apply comes into play. I personally love my night creams to be rich and full. When allowing cream to absorb, you can feel slight tingling and circulation staring to work. Just one week into using it, I did notice my skin being less dehydrated, dull and skin tone much more even. This is definitely not just your usual moisturiser, but highly active, cream that really works without being full of chemicals.

JOIK Rejuvenating Eye Cream with coffee, field horsetail extracts, vitamin B3, hyaluronic acid and many more, keeps eye area well-rested while combating puffiness and darkness. While working great under the makeup when applied in the mornings, I especially adore it during the night times, because when I wake up, my eye area is always so smooth, moisturised and definitely brighter. I do recommend giving your eye area a gentle massage when applying it, this ensures you get the most out of its toning, circulating effects and you might even get rid of your dark circles. I am truly enjoying this eye cream's invigorating effect, that is very similar to the night cream, just more gentler like it should be when the eye area comes into play. 

Conscious Skincare is something I have heard before, but really haven't had a proper chance to hop in and try something out. I must admit, these two products from Neutralize line are totally different what I meant them to be when I first got them. Being organic, I thought I get something very gentle, mild and not so surprisingly active. But when I say 'active', I do mean it in a good way. These two, and especially this exfoliant are something I would recommend testing out with caution, because oh boy, they are effective. 

Neutralize Face Wash is a clear gel that mildly lathers up and really gently makes your skin tingle. This does help with microcirculation, and its zesty ingredients along with the lovely refreshing scent will deep clean your pores from all the buildup in a regular use. At the moment my skin is quite tolerant and I always give this cleanser little bit more time to work and leave it on my face for couple of minutes before rinsing it off. This allows all the zesty goodness sink into my skin, cleanse it properly and treat any imperfections like pimples, clogged pores and even dry patches. This cleanser will leave your skin like you have had a mild chemical peel in the most natural way as it feels acidic without any harm actual acids can do when misused. 

Neutralize Exfoliant is the real bad boy in this duo. This is a lot thicker gel with pretty sparingly added beads in it. When I first poured a dollop on my hand I wondered how it does its job with so little amount of actual particles. Little did I know that besides almond shell powder that does its mechanical exfoliation, this exfoliant is packed with good natural acids, floral waters, essential oils to work deep in the skin like a good chemical peel. It will make face warm and stinging, but tolerance builds up use after use. My face was little bit red after rinsing, but after 5 minutes the redness was gone. Even after first use, you will notice how smooth, bump free and even your skin is. Every other product from toners to serums, moisturisers and makeup will be so much easier to apply and blend in. Truly 'get that glow' product in a bottle!

Starting with a clean slate where to apply your potent skincare doesn't have to be harsh or abrasive, getting your skin literally squeaky. As a matter in fact, it should be supportive, not acting against your skin, as gentle as possible when sloughing away that dead surface and assisting your natural protective mantle of your skin. All that can be achieved with a nicely picked out cleansing balm. The term itself sounds satisfying to me. A good cleansing balm feels like a much needed nectar for your face while cleansing and exfoliating the skin. It leaves no noticeable residue, but gives you velvety and soft to touch skin after rinsing off. You will get the most out of your cleansing ritual when you use your balm hand in hand with a good bamboo cloth and warm water.

And after the first experience you will think, why you didn't try this so basic yet effective cleansing ritual before. Why all these complex cleansing systems and products when a good natural product can do so much for your complexion? All that will be perfect to finish with a natural highly potent facial oil that can deeply penetrate your skin due to a good cleanse.

Móa Daily Cleansing Ritual has been delightful to my 'all over the place, because season is changing' skin. It hydrates, smears off any makeup, soothes senses and skin, cleanses even deepest impurities and calms down any irritation or redness. Giving yourself a short face massage while working the balm into the skin assists in better blood circulation and tones the skin in general. Soothing yarrow and tea tree will make sure the process is calming and aslo good for the senses. Bamboo cloth coming with it has nicest quality, it is thick, has two different sides and is gives amazingly gentle deep cleanse by getting rid of any dead skin and impurities. Velvety, balanced out, much more calmer and softer skin guaranteed!
But this green pot of balm has its secret powers. It isn't just a face cleanser, but so much more. It can be used as a multi-purpose healing balm for anything that may going on with your skin, from cold sores and scars to scratches or rashes. 

One of the newer additions in Móa Magic Organic Apothecary is their Aphrodite Facial Oil which is a special blend for radiant skin. This beautifying facial oil absorbs into the skin without leaving any trace behind. This would be a perfect starting oil who are afraid of the face oils being greasy or too much to handle.
Based on the rosehip oil, it fights any premature aging, smooths the texture of pores and lines. Rosehip oil is rich in fatty acids, vitamins A and C, so it will help to naturally assists in skin's regenerative process. Damask rose essential oil helps with imprefections, such a dryness, blemishes, redness, any sensitive areas. Organic yarrow essential oil helps with uneven skin tone and pigmentation. Rose geranium balances and cleanses, marshmallow extract soothes and calms the skin. All this blended together makes a powerful liquid you should apply few drops morning and evening. I find it so soothing to massage it evenly into my skin while breathing in comforting scents of natural oils. Must be my favourite step of my skincare!

While we all know skin care products can take little patience and time to see the results, this facial oil blew me away in a good way. Or was it the cleansing balm? Or these two together? Who knows! My skin feels visibly smoother and glowing within few weeks. I will continue using this little simple ritual during my mornings and evenings just to give it a chance to amaze me even more. 

I find myself happily turning to Lush products when my skin doesn't cooperate as I would like to. Getting rid of that dull looking winter skin in the most gentle way was my goal when I opted for these two Lush skin items. Both of these do work amazingly on their own, but when using together, I feel like someone gave me new skin. Before going into detail of both of these, I highly recommend to replace your usual lathering face cleanser to the more creamy one... especially when it is colder outside and skin tends to get dehydrated. One simple step like this will make wonders with your whole skin regimen. 

Lush Aqua Marina Fresh Face Cleanser is rich in kaoline and calamine which will absorb any excess oils to give a clear complexion. Aloe vera will moisturise, Irish Moss seaweed will give the kick of restorative minerals and vitamins while finest grind of sea salt will gently exfoliate. Natural essential oils of sweet wild orange and patchouli give this gentle cleanser its unique scent and make it enjoyable to use. When I say the scent is unique, I mean you will love it or hate it as it is very different and herbal. To cleanse whole face you will need only pea-sized amount of product mixed with little bit of water. Smooth paste glides all over the skin very easily and soon your whole face will be milky light pink. I am usually giving myself little bit of time when working it into my skin as the calamine and kaoline are great facial ingredients. This allows your face to have a mini-facial while you are just cleansing it. Rinsing everything off is easier than you'd think and you'll be left with cleansed, hydrated, definitely brighter and more calm face that is ready to absorb any skincare you are currently using. 

Lush Don't Look At Me Fresh Face Mask is fairly new in their product collection. It is rich, has exfoliating texture that is filled with nurturing murumuru butter. Finely ground rice makes it smoothest exfoliant ever while brightening properties of lemon juice and Tunisian neroli in combination with organic tofu will treat the skin like the best 'does it all' facial. Grapefruit oil and rice syrup make this bright blue substance smelling delicious and you will always want more when have tried once. If you are afraid of the exfoliating and brightening claims and think this mask will be too harsh, you are wrong. It is working extremely gently on the skin, you haven't felt one single tingle or discomfort while sometimes allowing it to sit on my skin way too long. Creamy blue paste glides on like a butter while exfoliating particles are so fine you get all the dull skin without any harsh scrubbing. Zesty lemon juice in it will feel like a hydrating tonic for your thirsty skin, allowing you to have brighter, more even skin with smooth texture. All this after you have enjoyed the uplifting experience of having bright blue face for 10-15 minutes (or slightly more in most of my cases). 

I will start out by saying that this mask isn't something I would recommend to people with sensitive skin. If you have, but still want to be rebel, maybe try it as a spot treatment. In that way I can imagine it working perfectly for you. 

First of all I didn't know much about this mask when I got it. I just decided to get it when local The Body Shop had huge sale going on and as I like to have many options when doing face masks, I had to get this new member of my face mask stash. So I chose The Body Shop Blue Corn 3in1 Deep Cleansing Mask and hoped for the best. What is it about this mask then? It promises to cleanse, exfoliate and purify deeply. While removing extra dirt, dead skin cells and impurities it also moisturises and promises to leave skin soft afterwards. It has tiniest particles of blue corn to exfoliate, kaolin clay to purify and essentials oils to treat the skin. 

I can honestly say it does all that and even more! I use it as a weekly treatment as The Body Shop suggests. I couldn't imagine doing it more often, as oh boy, it is strong! As it is thick, you won't need much so plus to the fact it will last long. At first when rubbing it gently into the clean skin, you won't notice much... other than pleasant scent of essential oils and the finest gentle particles that exfoliate. Give it few seconds and it will start to tingle on the more sensitive areas of your face. For me it was around my mouth and nose, but the sensation didn't last long and wasn't unbearable at all. It is rather satisfying and gives the feeling that mask works. And it does work! 

Now, you would think that such a strong good working mask will dry the skin out. Vice versa! Somehow the skin feels so comfortable and normal after washing it off (while giving your face gentle scrub in a circular motion) and the feeling like your skin can breathe again is something you will get used to when using it regularly.

As I said at the beginning, don't use it all over your face when your skin tends to get sensitive, is overly dry or you are just not sure. It definitely has antiseptic properties and ability to get rid of any spot fast, you can use it as a spot treatment you leave on for 10-15 minutes. Any trouble you had on your face the day before will be minimal in the morning, because you use this mask in the evening. Give it a try!

A lot has changed since my last 'favourites' post. While preferences change, seasons change, products also have to keep up with it and the new selection I reach for the most had to happen. Without further ado, here it is. Mostly skincare, little bit of makeup, haircare and something else.

Vestige Verdant Rare Oil Blend is the new product from the company that blew everybody's minds with their organic bioactive mask I talked about in here. Now they have stepped up their game again and came out with the luxurious organic face oil blend that combats so many skincare issues while giving the softness of cashmere. 

Rose Mira Spring Flowers Calming Toner contains floral hydrosols of orange blossom, lemon verbena, essential oils of linden blossom and rose damascene that together make this toner sweetly scented nectar for every skin type. It calms the skin right after washing while preparing it for the next step of moisturising. As much I live the calming scent I also admire how it keeps my skin less oily, balanced and comfortable.

Earthbody Control Facial Mosituriser is another facial oil blend I am keen on. It smells like a warm cosy winter evening or gingerbread cookies with hot cup of tea. It makes you feel calm and focused while taking care of any pimples, breakouts, spots and irritations. Truly luxurious and unique, it contains essential oils of clove, amber, sandalwood, tangerine and frangipani that make your complexion radiant and clear. Must-have when dealing with acne or occasional break outs!

Mádara Brightening AHA Peel Mask is one of the two face masks this wonder company recently let out. Why wonder company? There is not one product I have tried by them that I don't love. They make their products so carefully while keeping in mind the skin of European skin and using the ingredients from European nature. Peel mask is a white liquid gel that exfoliates skin throughout without any particles or scrubbing needed. It leaves skin so smoothly silky while polishing pores smaller than you remembered them to be.

Placent Activ Reinforzing Hair Treatment is a liquid placenta that come in set of ampules. One shot of it should be massaged into scalp and hair every other day after washing it. It is mainly meant for supporting the growth of hair while making it stronger. As it is quite watery, it doesn't make hair visibly stronger right away. As a matter of fact, you won't feel like you put something in your hair at all. But these do hide long term benefits in them! I noticed little baby hair coming in within few weeks and I am definitely will continue using them, in order to post full review.

KOMONO Magnus Black Black Watch has served me so well and day by day I love it more and more. As I discovered after getting it, this is meant to be for men, but still it is perfect. In its black sleekness and big dial it goes with every outfit and occasion while showing you the right time in big easy to watch numbers. Brushed matte metal case and black leather wrist band make the unique perfect mix that is comfortable to wear.

Lucy's Lotions Vitamin E & Grapefruit Lip Balm is a lip potion to soothe, moisturise and heal dry lips. Or to keep them in condition! Its fresh zesty grapefruit scent makes it refreshing to use while its natural butters and oils do hard work taking care of your pout. As it comes in a bigger tin, I use it mostly at home and I don't have to go into my stash I keep in my purse.

Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille is a perfume full of warmth and cosiness. This mellow scent is something to wear when feeling under the weather or stressed out. It lights you up immediately! If you think it is just 'another sweet scent' out there, you are underestimating it. In its vanilla bean sweetness there is also a good amount of wintery woody spiciness hiding in it.

LiLash Puryfyied Eyelash Serum is the new old fellow I used to love and started using again. It made life so easy and allowed me to skip mascara or the whole makeup routine at times. You can't imagine what a big difference great pair of natural lashes do until you have one. This is the serum that gives extreme results!

Lumene Raspberry Miracle Mascara is the one I got just because I needed a mascara and had no clue which one to get. While mascaras doesn't last long, they are great products to alternate with. This one surprised me from the day one. It has a nice thick full brush along with black fibre consistency that makes lashes full and long. It won't smudge or transfer during the day and has conditioning arctic raspberry extracts in it.

Lucy Minerals Bronzer 'Sunny Bronze' is mineral bronzer so fine it gives the most natural bronzed complexion or warmly contoured cheeks. Its light warm brown tone and subtle sheen applies as a natural glow, yet it is greatly pigmented so little bit goes very long way. When worn as an eye shadow, it defines the lids and gives the warm natural bisquity look.

Beauty certainly doesn't only come from skincare, nutrition plays pretty important role in the condition of our skin, nails and hair. When you aren't very strict with what you put in your mouth and worry that your busy day gets the best of your meals, it is necessary to reach for vitamins and supplements. The best you can do while taking additional nutrients in a form of a tablet, is to search the greatest natural options that doesn't harm your health in any way. Lamberts for example carries a wide selection of minerals, vitamins, supplements to combat any of your needs in a professional and natural way. I started out trying Colladeen Derma Plus that is supplement formula for a healthy skin.

It was the end of the summer when I started taking these. Summer ended pretty quickly and temperature dropped literally overnight. While my skin wasn't dry or troubled during summer months, I always get so much dryness and flakiness when it gets cold. That usually messes up the skin and you can only opt for richer moisturiser and hope it will pass soon. It usually does, because your skin gets used to the colder weather and will clear up eventually. These supplements made the whole dry skin situation non-existent. I continued to use my usual moisturiser and didn't even notice the weather change as war as my skin goes. As a bonus to much smoother and healthier skin, my nails grow fast. I like my nails shorter and classier, it only means I need to cut and file them more often. I can deal with it though!

It is the middle of the fall right now and even though I am currently out of these tablets, my skin is still happy! I am only left with a bad remembrance of my skin acting up exactly one year ago when the situation was same, temperature dropping, central heating turned on, weather changing. I can honestly say, you will get longer term results with these supplements. While good skin care is important and supplements should go hand in hand with it, Colladeen will give a new breathing and a restart for your skin.

I bet everyone who has been in contact with makeup and skincare has at one point heard or even tried Bioderma micellar water. It has the 'holy grail' and 'cult product' status and I have always wondered if it really does live up to it. When I got more into it, I discovered there is not only one Bioderma cleansing water available, but one for every skin type. Of course, the pink one, which is orginally meant for sensitive skin type and called Bioderma Sensibio H20, is the most famous one of them. The other one is comes in a bottle with neon green cap and the solution itself is light blue. It should be perfect for oilier problematic skins and carries a name Bioderma Sébium H20. Long story short, I put both of them into a test to see if they really are so good as many people, mostly makeup artists, claim them to be.

Scent wise it is pretty neutral and I didn't notice anything when it comes to it. It should be used with a cotton pad and as it has active ingredients in it, you can feel slight residue on the skin afterwards. This won't clog pores, make your skin irritated or uncomfortable, but rather treats the skin problems. If you don't just have few breakouts here an there, but oily skin is a constant struggle for you, I bet your skin would benefit from it more than mine did (read: you will see actual results).

Bioderma Sensibio H20

Even though I don't have sensitive skin, my skin still loves this and I definitely prefer it to the Sébium H20. Why? I value the 'no residue' effect, the fact it calms down my skin (winter will be the time of irritations) and when comparing the two, this one feels more like water to me. Definite repurchase if you ask me and probably in a bigger size!

I have talked about Circaroma before, but never ever I have tried their balancing skin care range. Circaroma makes a wide range of organic skin care products, formulated for every skin type and many of their products are award winners. Their balancing range has been created to bring equilibrium to skin. It is especially great for normal to oily skin types and you can pick out everything to cleanse, tone, exfoliate, moisturise, replenish.

Balancing Facial Cleanser Palmarosa & Orange Zest comes in a pump bottle that holds 100ml of a light creamy cleanser in it. It smells very comforting, yet has the uplifting zesty scent to it. Lotion has a rejuvenating palmarosa and cooling orange zest that work together with hydrating rose water, moisturising jojoba and coconut oil. All that to give deep cleansed and purified skin that feel comfortable and soft. 

While creamier cleansers can put some people off, you should reconsider. As you have read before, I have been totally blown away by the cream cleansers. They do get deep into pores and natural oils dissolve any dirt, grime and even blocked pores. You won't be greasy afterwards, but are left with hydrated and smooth surface. This cleanser will keep your oil glands at bay and your skin won't overproduce the oil anymore. In turn, you will have less breakouts and irritations on your skin!

Replenishing Facial Mask Rose Flower & Lemon Zest is purifying mask based on kaolin and bentonite  clays that will deep cleanse skin while also taking care of it. While clay cleanses, the blend of deeply fragrant rose flower and toning lemon zest combined with soothing almond and jojoba oils will nourish and put all the goodness right back into your skin. When you first apply this mask, you can feel the creamy texture that comforts your skin immediately. It won't sting or pull your skin like some clays do. As it dries, the mask will mostly sink into your skin and you are left with light layer of clay on your skin that isn't dried out at all. It is easy to remove and you can feel how your skin can actually breathe afterwards. This mask would be a perfect step in your skin care regimen during the colder months as it not only draws impurities, but also balances, keeps it healthy and radiant. Gentle enough to use daily, but powerful enough to see the results within one use!

These gems are LUMI bioactive skincare, based on the hemp seed oil that is known to be extremely beneficial for the skin, has been created with the principle to create a cosmetic line that is safe yet effective. Hemp seed oil is suitable for every skin type, but especially great for sensitive and problematic skin types. LUMI skin and body care range is quite wide, but only few days ago they let out two brand new products that form their cleansing line. 

After that it is time to the actual cleansing, removing the dirt that may be hiding deep down in the pores and exfoliating dead skin cells. LUMI Moisturising Cleansing Milk is a product that is more milky in texture and has a yellowish shade to it. To get evenly distributed product, it is best to shake the bottle before pumping it on your palm. Again, one pump is more than enough to clean whole face and neck area. The process of rubbing this goodness all over the face and massaging it in your pores is heavenly. It contains lactic acid and gentle cleansing complex that ensures deep cleanse, minus the harshness. Lactic acid is known for removing dead skin cells and impurities very gently. Bioactive herbal extracts will soothe the tired skin and support cell renewal. Afterwards you just need to rinse it off with warm water and you are left with clean smooth face that is ready for moisturising. There will be no tight feeling yet no greasy residue at all. Skin will be balanced, clean and so comfortable. 

Whenever I feel I need to clean out my pores and problem areas even more, I let this cleanser sit on my skin few minutes before rinsing it off. It works magic on my pores and makes them clean, appear smaller and smoother. 

Overall I think everyone who has even slightest skin issues should step aside from harsh cleansers and look into something like LUMI does. When choosing these cleansers you won't have to give up on completely clean finish you like after you have washed your skin. These ones are so effective and at the same time their gentle ingredients won't aggravate any more skin problems like redness, blemishes or sensitivity. Considering the price point, the amount you get and the concentration of the products, it isn't a splurge, but rather nice thing to do for your skin.

This summer I decided to got something more natural when it comes to suncare. I haven't had organic sun products before and Biosolis seemed to be a perfect choice. It isn't plain as many organic products tend to be and therefore you can get totally clean suncare products that at the same time are innovative enough to cover your specific needs. Biosolis range of products is pretty wide, but I chose two products that suit me perfectly and have been using throughout the summer.

Two totally different products both come in neat and high quality bottles with a spray cap on top. They hold much, but are small enough to carry in your bag or fit into drawers when not needed. 

Darker brown bottle holds Biosolis Oil Spray with SPF 6 in it. It is perfect to use when your skin has already been exposed to the sun and you don't need very high sun protection anymore. That been said, it still protects the skin perfectly and moisturises the skin while allowing it to get an even tan. 

It contains natural oils of Sesame seed, Jojoba, Argan, Rapeseed and Karanja seed which contains an ingredient called pongamia which increases the protection and broadens the UV spectrum for even better protection. While it is oil formulae it isn't greasy and sinks right into the skin, leaving it smooth, beautiful and even toned. This spray oil is slightly tinted so it will beautify the skin and leave the appearance of deeper tan immediately after application.

The other product is Biosolis Self-Tanning Spray. While you can find truly organic sun protection when you look good, I haven't had a chance to get my hands on organic self tanner before. First time using it, I wasn't sure about it as all the great tanners that are easy to use, don't smell and deliver the even application, tend to be full of chemicals. 

So I hoped for the best, but didn't know what to expect. The consistency of it is a milky lotion that goes on really smooth like any hydrating body milk does. It comes out slightly bronzed yellow shade, so you are able to see where it goes while rubbing it into your skin. The most satisfying to me was the scent of this lotion, it smells like green tea to me. At all times of the self-tanning process there is no typical self-tanner smell at all. But this product surprised me one more time: the tan it gives is so natural looking, evenly sunkissed while skin is moisturised, soft and smells fresh. Overall I love this product. As it feels very luxurious and works something like higher end product would, I don't use it too often right now. Mainly because I imagine how great it would be during winter time when I desperately need a warmer shades on my body. It works perfectly whatever the shade of your skin is and gives you a natural healthy tan while also taking care of your skin and beautifying it. 

Whenever I finish one of the face masks, I have to try another one. Recently I have looked into Lush ones and so I got Lush's Cosmetic Warrior fresh face mask into my hands. It has ten ingredients that make it perfect for troubled skin to combat any spots, balance skin, cool down the skin and moisturise while gently cleansing.

First of all, this mask can be weird at first as it contains fresh garlic and behind the scent of tea tree oil you can actually sense the garlic too. I wasn't bothered by it as garlic is great antiseptic and skin purifier. The garlic in it is quite gentle and even though you can feel little minced pieces of it in the mask it won't be overpowering at all. The main scent of this mask is refreshing tea tree oil.

This kaolin based white mask is creamy and extremely pleasant if your skin is inflamed or having breakouts in general. It makes skin feel comfortable and while working on your skin you can feel the slight cooling, cleansing sensation in a moisturising creamy texture. 

What else does it contain? It has fresh green grapes to clean and cool down the skin, fresh organic free range eggs to tighten the pores and skin's texture, moisturising and antiseptic properties of a honey, fresh garlic to deep cleanse and tea tree oil to fight spots and bacteria. 

All this goodness make it so perfect and easy to fight with skin problems and only within one 15 minutes use you can feel your skin is clearer, smoother and can breathe better than before.

Team of Beyond Organic creates certified organic cosmetics that is hand made and won several prestigious beauty awards in years. The thing that caught my attention at first was the fact they use a seabuckthorn which I happen to love because of its omegas, fatty acids and anti-oxidants. Not to mention all the natural glow it gives to your skin!

It is suitable for every skin type and has also balancing properties for oilier or problematic skin types. Beyond Organic Firming Eye Cream is probably my number one choice when it comes to taking care of my eye area. It is soothing, moisturising, brightening and firming, yet so delicate and natural I first thought it won't do much for me. It contains eyebright to reduce puffiness and soothe, rosehip to fight lines and rose to gently tone the eye area. Besides all that it is totally free of any fragrance or essential oils to ensure that it is gentle won't irritate the delicate and thin skin around eyes.

As you may know, my biggest problem is darkness under my eyes. After first application I did feel the soothing effect and felt my skin around my eyes almost drinking everything up from this eye cream. Afterwards I was left smoother and more nourished eye area. When it comes to combating darkness, I didn't really believe in it as Beyond Organic doesn't state anything about it when it comes to this eye cream. But I was wrong! Within a week or so I saw improvement in my eye area, it was lighter and brighter. I believe this cream improves the circulation and therefore handles any tiredness and darkness around eyes. Truly amazing results for a natural product!

I haven't posted a blog post on all the things that wait testing out or writing posts on before. Until today! You have to change things up in order to keep things interesting for yourself and for readers. Endlessly pouring rain behind my window and a hot cup of tea being my trustful friend, shall we start!

I don't like hair sprays. I just don't! I know you should use them if you just spent half an hour of your valuable time to make those lovely curls or amazing blow-out, but I can't make myself to use them. Maybe it is so, because I haven't found the right one yet? All the hair sprays I have gotten previously I ended up giving away after few uses. They always make my hair dry, stiff and plastic. Not to mention my hair does what it likes to do as it has its own stubborn brains and no hair spray would stop it! I got my hands on Macadamia Natural Oil Control Hair Spray that is filled with Macadamia Oil and Omegas 3, 5 and 7. I am not completely sure about this product yet, but I can say this may be the product that restored my trust in hair sprays. Maybe because it is full of oils and really lightweight when it come to its finish. Also, keep the humidity away from your hair do and that is very needed with this weepy summer weather we have in here.

Burberry Body Gold Limited Edition Eau de Parfum is something I refuse to put down lately even though it isn't necessarily a summery scent. It has top notes of green absinthe, illuminating peach and delicate freesia. Floral heart notes include rose absolute, iris and warm sandalwood. Base notes reveal woody cashmeran, creamy vanilla, amber and musk. Totally warm and comforting scent that has really powerful sensual twist to it. It is something you would wear at night or on colder months as its warmth with the sour sweetness can be too heavy for summer. As I said, I have found a true comfort out of this scent on these cold days and refuse to skip it in my morning routine.

Two products have cheered me up so much lately and even though there's not much sun out there, I still enjoy having brand new pair of sunglasses along with this sleek watch. To be exact I got to wear my sunglasses for 20 minutes yesterday when we had beautiful bright sun during temperature of 4'C that made me doubt what season it is. Just after that we got huge load of pouring rain on us and I had to put my sunglasses inside this nifty case it comes with. These are KOMONO Urkel sunglasses in Tortoise. They give an excellent protection and are so comfortable to wear as they are high quality. You know how some cheaper glasses can have a plastic feel? It is not a case with these ones, they are made with optical hinges and have metal core inside. Not to mention I love the warm dark brown colour of mine. My watch is also from KOMONO, Magnus Black Black to be exact. With its black genuine leather strap, stainless steel brushed matte metal case, quite big display, lightness and water resistance it has all the qualities a perfect watch should have for me. I love how the simplicity and sleekness go hand in hand with this one!

A true multi tasking product, Shiseido Face Color Enhancing Trio in RS1 has everything a face could need when it comes to makeup. Harmonized tones of highlighter, sculpter and blusher form the perfect combination in one compact to use all three separately or mixed together. RS1 shade has been described as 'Glamorous Bronze Luster' and that is so true. The blusher gives the right amount of colour to achieve that flushed summery look, the bronzer is perfect for warm contouring or just adding wamrht to the face. Highlighter with the warm golden undertones and finest sheen to it will give that perfect angelic goddess glow. This also has to be the first makeup compact I own that came with the brush that isn't a garbage. The brush actually is the softest ever and makes the product application effortless.

Some time ago, a clothing brand Seppälä came out with cosmetic line full of different products from body care to makeup. At first I didn't know what to expect from a clothing brand. What do they know about beauty products? To try them out myself, I got few items and started out with the body product, The Must Have Body Scrub with passionfruit & guava. First, they are pretty clever with the names of the products that are simple and not over the top, yet witty and catching. I wasn't even under the shower yet when I was amazed by the packaging of this body scrub. It is such a high quality plastic jar that comes with a reflecting silver lid you can use as a mirror. How snazzy is that? The product itself makes me probably scrub my body more often than I should. But is is okay as it is really gentle and creamy. The scent of it is what gets to me! It smells like an expensive Victoria's Secret product and has the whipped cream consistency with fine gentle beads in it. While scrubs like this can leave residue on skin (and I don't like residue on my body as long as products are truly natural), this doesn't. It washes off completely clean and will leave skin smooth and velvety! Well done, Seppälä!

While the weather is hectic and can't decide which it wants to be, warm or cold, sunny or rainy, my skin doesn't like this! And it takes everything out on me, like I could choose the right temperature for it. While my skin gets drier I always look into balancing products as I don't want to suffocate my skin with heavy creams when not needed. This Kris D'Amour Balancing Facial Treatment Oil has become handy to me when handling my skin's moods. I have used it only for couple of days, but I already see and feel improvement as my skin isn't so dry around my nose an mouth anymore. It has been formulated for oily, combination and acne prone skin so it should also sort out few break outs I have. I am especially impressed my the ingredient list it has: oils of jojoba, hazelnut, tamanu, seabuckthorn, apple seed, grape seed, juniper berry, lavender, petitgrain, patchouli and extracts of green, red and white teas. All to balance, nourish, hydrate and decongest the skin. Also in love with its comforting warm blend of scents I look forward to smelling whenever I use it.

Filorga BB-Perfect Anti-Aging Beauty Balm has been amazing to me in those two days I have used it! It covers well, better than other BB-creams I have tried and yet looks like you aren't wearing a makeup on your skin. Healthy dewy finish with the moisturising properties guaranteed! My 'radiant beige' shade adapts with my own skin tone perfectly and leaves it definitely brighter and more radiant. Feels almost like putting a good moisturiser on and getting the corrective part as a good surprise.

Garnier Ultra Doux Honey Treasures Shampoo and Conditioner are something I got sent as a gift and  otherwise probably wouldn't have these in my hands. Recently I have tried to take care of my hair with more gentler and natural products and Garnier isn't exactly pure. Also I am aware that sometimes really good hair products aren't 100% pure. A lot of times I am also guilty of choosing the ones that work well and aren't natural. With an open mind, I used these yesterday for the first time. They smell like milk and honey and are both really creamy and easy to use. No residue left into hair, really easy to wash out and totally fuzz free when it comes to using them. I actually liked them after one use and am sure to try them out for a little longer. They left my hair smooth and stronger. Not much to say about the nourishing part as I still needed to use my hair serum afterwards, but the strength of the hair is noticeable! Great for a basic hair care when you don't want to use loads of products, but still want great results.

Biosolis Self Tanning Spray is more like milk that comes out from a spray bottle. The thing I love the most about it is that is certified organic products with EcoCert and BIO labels on it. It has light yellow texture which makes it easy to apply, doesn't smell at any stage of self tanning and gives most natural tan on face and body within one use. You will look like you are slightly sun-kissed, nothing extreme and major at all! Actually it was a refreshing experience to use a product like this, you don't have to be scared of orange or weird shades and streaks. It can be made more intense and darker with re-applying the next day. Huge plus, it won't clog pores and even though I have used it once only I will get more into it and probably will notice even more benefits of it. I am happy with this product as it is hard to find an organic self-tanner that is actually good!
