As a committed coffee lover (read: an addict) Kohvisemu's Tasting Box was something I had wanted to try for a while. For the next trip to their shop to stock up on some appliances for my coffee maker I got the great deal, amazing service and had to bring it to my home with me.  The idea of brewing and tasting different coffee's without any biased opinion of knowing the brand sounded both exciting and perfect to discover new favourites. 

In the box you will get four separately package coffee beans, each one holds 250g and can be re-sealed. So you can drink several cups of coffee before deciding weather you like it or not. With the coffee packages comes the leaflet about the process of coffee tasting and little note you should't open before you have had the taste of every four coffees. Then you can actually know which brand was your favourite for your taste buds without letting the opinion to change because of your usual preference or knowledge of coffee brands.

I managed to taste my coffees properly without any peeking and the result didn't surprise me at all. I already knew I enjoy the most the coffees with 100% arabica beans and this test made it even clearer. The only package that contained the mixture of robusta and arabica remained unused after few cups, just because I can't seem to bring myself to enjoy it. I was also nicely surprised that one of my favourite coffees Café Liegeois 'Bella Roma' I have used before was included and as a part of the 'blind test' I really liked it. All in all, I definitely found the tasting box to be worth trying, as I found most enjoyable coffee I have tasted so far, Mokito 'Bianco' which surprised me with its unique fruity undertone and slight chocolatey scent. Decent sized package of it let me enjoy it for quite some time.

Surrounded by the most interesting antique and art shops, Estonia's first cupcake shop Tassikoogid  on Tähe street 21 definitely catches the eye when taking a walk through Tartu. On one beautiful Saturday afternoon I decided to walk in and have a treat while enjoying freshly brewed cappuccino. While walking in you can definitely feel and sense the romantic style and retro vibe surrounding the whole room. Cupcake stands are full of freshly baked goods they do bake themselves every day. Besides offering wonderful selection of cupcakes to every taste, they do have a selection of macaroons, cake pops and offer bakings upon orders. 

We got coffee cupcake along with salted caramel cupcake to taste with our coffees. Chocolate one had coffee filling and sour cream topping on a chocolate base. It was perfectly moist, rich in taste and after having just one you will be fulfilled with the nice combination of chocolate and coffee. Both tastes go hand in hand together without overpowering each others. Perfect choice if you love coffee and to have with creamy cappuccino! Salted caramel cupcake consisted of the vanilla base, yoghurt cream and salted caramel filling. Wonderful treat to anyone who wants to have a quality treat, but dislikes too sweet cakes.

While enjoying coffee and cake, we got to chat privately, look at the magical surroundings, both inside and outside without feeling rushed. I will definitely want to go back and have a cupcake outside during summertime as the little table next to the wooden house under the Tassikoogid sign just shouts 'come and get the taste of fairytale'. Yes, it sure does feel like being in a fairytale in this cupcake shop. 

This weekend I took apart from an event 'Ilublogijate Kokkutulek 2016' where many Estonian beauty bloggers got together, learned about few beauty brands, enjoyed good food and drinks. Most importantly between all that we got to meet each other, talk all the important talks and leave with the goodie bags that were full of products to try... and all that because of to the most generous sponsors who supported us and made this event possible. 

Wonderful Al Bastione restaurant hosted us and fed us wonderful food. Their healthy pizza disappeared as fast as they served it and their interior was cozy yet sleek. Vitamin Well and John Lemon took it to their responsibility that we wouldn't get thirsty. Hands down, both beverages taste wonderful, are good for you and keep you going. Lovely local homemade waffle makers from Vahvlihaldjad served us the crispiest nostalgic waffles I have tasted in a long time. These do bring back memories from childhood and will definitely be the highlight of every event. 

Many companies chose to take apart from the event and introduce their products in person. Even though a lot of them were already familiar to me, I enjoyed getting to know how some products were born, what were the struggles and joys when creating them and the gratitude towards beauty bloggers as a part of their journey was felt almost everywhere. 

As I have decided long time ago, I will be honest and clear in all of my posts. Not everything was great and bubbly, but that is also fine, because it gives us something to think about, a new perspective and an experience! The only bitter taste I had in my mouth when leaving this event was due to the person who represented Vestige Verdant. 

I love this company and admire everything they do and have done so far. They have always been so humble, brave and appreciative of everything, therefore the whole situation was very surprising. I do hope that Vestige Verdant as a company don't actually accept the qualities like 'we are better than everybody else', 'we know better than our competitors', 'we only lost, because we don't have as much resources' as their own. Their spokes person who was representing them at the event, highlighted so greatly with pride in his eyes, that this is his way of thinking and sadly reflected these beliefs into the company. Publicly trashing and taunting the other company who's creator is in the same room is also not professional and made everybody roll their eyes. This is not healthy competition like he defended his behaviour afterwards, it is abuse and shows more fear than confidence. I do think there is enough room and beautiful faces in the world to TurBliss the and Vestige Verdant, because both companies make amazing organic peat masks, have totally different campaigns and roads ahead of them. I also do admire and have so much respect to the creator of TurBliss who in all of this stayed so professional, held her back straight and was above all of itTo sum this up I do want to believe this instance was only because they chose the wrong person to represent them, the company itself has their original positive attitude they had in the beginning of their road and they haven't forgot where they come from - the same place their competitors, little country Estonia that has enough peat for both of them. 

On the positive note, we also got exciting information that NYX Cosmetics will soon be in Estonia with its wide selection of affordable and colourful makeup. I also got to play with few products they had on their display and found myself drooling all over their blushes that were so tempting.

As I mentioned, we all walked away with heavy goodie bags provided by all the sponsors. I will get to testing everything and in the near future you will see many reviews, opinions and my talking, talking, talking about them.

Many people understand that too much jewellery is a major fashion mistake; in fact, it may be in the top of the list of fashion errors. These outfits already reveal a great deal of your collarbone, neck and chest. Don't draw too much attention and cheapen your look by wearing a necklace; the clothing is enough and can stand by itself. Usually an attention-grabbing pair of earrings will do in these circumstances.

In summary, balance should always be kept in mind to avoid wearing too much accessories. Think about this when you're getting ready to go out. Also, make sure it's you that shines through, not your choice of over-the-top necklace. Above all else, jewellery should be thought of as an accent. Use it sparingly and you'll wind up looking your best.
