Beauty Wish List #2

Time for my second beauty wish list! Some of these things I know that are good, some of these I would just like to try out and hopefully love to pieces. Like always, things I have been longing for quite some time and things that would be impulsive buys.

1. Shan Rahimkhan Shiny Silver Treatment with Argan Oil & Quinoa is a conditioning treatment mask for hair with pearl and silver pigments to get a cool look and intensified colour and shine.

2. Bdellium Tools Travel Line Basic 7pc Brush Set is a professional antibacterial brush set that consist of most needed travel sized makeup brushes that come in a handy brush roll.

3. Barry M Gelly Nail Paint (in shade Blueberry) is long lasting gel nail polish that gives shiny glossy chip resistant colour with the colour range that looks something that would make every day brighter - link.

4. Senna Cosmetics Face Sculpting Kit (in Shade 1) consists of a compact that has highlighting and contouring shades in a cream to powder form and a brush to assist in getting the perfect sculpted face.

Aussie Mega Haircare

I have no staples when it comes to shampoo and conditioner, I usually use what I get my hands on and that's about it. I never tried Aussie and thought I will give it a try. Confused in the shampoo isle I didn't know which one to pick as everything from Aussie sounded good enough to try or even love.

I decided to go with their Mega line and give it a go. When it was time to use it I got a bit hesitant. I was particularly worried about the shampoo and thought it might be a bit drying for my strands as it promises breathtaking cleanliness and to remove any build up from hair. Sounds a lot like a clarifying shampoo you wouldn't use very often, doesn't it?

I brushed these thoughts off my shoulder and trusted the statement that these products are good to use daily. After all it promised to cleanse carefully and leave hair bouncy and sleek without any build up.

I knew that many people love Aussie because their products smell good, but as I wouldn't imagine that shampoo and conditioner could smell that gorgeous. It was like visiting candy shop instead taking a shower and in a good way, they don't smell synthetic or plastic but rather very pleasant.

AUSSIE MEGA SHAMPOO

Shampoo comes out clear, lathers up pretty good yet feels very gentle on hair. Your hair does get very clean, voluminous and bouncy but ends don't get dry like with other clarifying shampoos. So I am not sure if I should call it clarifying as it certainly doesn't feel like it, but when it comes to cleaning your hair from any product build up and residue, it does its job as good as any other purifying shampoo does. Minus the overly dry hair afterwards. So on that side I can say that it is shampoo that knows its job!

AUSSIE MEGA INSTANT CONDITIONER

Conditioner comes out golden white and quite thick for a every day conditioner I have seen before and I like it. It makes really sure your hair gets back much needed moisture after cleansing it really good. A lot of really moisturising conditioners can be a struggle when rinsing them off. You could still feel something in your hair even though you literally spent good amount of time trying to get everything out of your hair. Not with this stuff! It comes out really quickly, with only few minutes and without a fight.

It leaves hair smooth, silky and tangle free afterwards.

As you might understand, I love these two. They are simple, fuss free and easy to understand for me and my hair. As my first experience with Aussie was pretty good I will definitely make sure I am getting Aussie's other hair products next time and try them out to see if anything can beat the Mega line.

My Summer Beauty Essentials

So, these are not rules by any means, but I think that we all do have little must-haves in order to looks presentable and most importantly feel good in every situation. What are good things to have when those hot summer weathers kick in and you need to look your best!

Cleansing routine:

Stick to your cleansing routine even though you are always in a hurry and sometimes you get into bed early morning. I think that Clarisonic MIA does wonderful job at it giving deep cleaning 'just had professional facial' effect.

Berry shade lip product:

Wear lip shade that gives you juicy pout and you probably don't need any other makeup at all! I love

Helen-E Lip Gloss in Maraschino, cause it gives very natural shade for long time that lights up any face.

Face mist:

Mists give you good refreshment and hydration whenever you need it and are particularly easy to use on the go. I am enjoying this AEOS Facial Mist and the fact it is organic.

Light moisturiser for face:

You want to have a moisturiser that doesn't make you shiny but moisturises thoroughly and calms any redness from the heat. I happen to love MÀDARA Deep Moisture Gel because it moisturises deeply yet doesn't suffocate skin in its lightness.

Calming eye cream:

Having allergies, tired of the sun or sleepless nights? I love JOIK eye cream with mango butter and argan oil. It has all good natural oils and calming aloe in it. Feels very refreshing yet nourishing on the eye area.

Makeup compact:

You don't want to make it complicated when it comes to makeup and carrying it around. I use Sleek Face Form in Light that has matte bronzer, beautiful angelic highlighter and coral golden blush all in one little palette.

Natural looking mascara:

You don't need heavy thick mascara that weighs your lashes down. Yet don't want to make compromises on volume and definition no matter what the season is. I find that Lumene Natural Code Volume-Maximizing Mascara gives just that right kind of feather lashes!

Sun protection:

You definitely need sun protection but better yet if you get light coverage with it to cover little imperfections and even out the skin tone. Organic tinted moisturiser by Marie Veronique does just that job and it is good for your skin. Marie Veronique Organics Pacific Everyday Sheer Coverage, SPF 20.

Good hair treatment:

Treatments give your hair much needed nourishment and wake up your dull hair! You can use your own oils depending on what you have in your home or you can use some pre-made organic oil cocktails on the market that have just the right amount of goodness in it. I love to keep my hair healthy and shiny with Saaf Enriching Hair Oil. I use it as a treatment all over my hair or few drops as a serum to bring back the shine.

Regular exfoliation:

Even if you wash your face every day you still need to exfoliate it once a week or once every two weeks, depending on your skin type. This Conscious Skincare Neutralize Exfoliant is all natural and has that fresh citrus cent and ingredients in it. It acts like a mechanical scrub and chemical peel at the same time leaving skin so soft and smooth.

Curl Harmony Curl Reviver

I haven't talked about hair lately and this is because I am trying to keep it really simple when it come to hair. I use quite the amount of oils in my hair as a treatment and finishing serum. The reason behind that is the fact that there are only so little amount of products that would suit me or make my hair happy. I have talked about those few before, but as a blogger I am always in search of the other holy grail hair product.

My hair can be unruly, dry, frizzy and unmanageable. They can also be smooth and well behaved! So I have noticed that they act really mice when I pamper them with as natural ingredients as I can. There comes the downside of a lot of hair finishing products, their main ingredients are usually different types of silicone (yes, apparently one silicone in one product is not enough). So no styling products for me or only as my guilty pleasure! Until I found Curl Harmony.

It is basically a light balm that smooths down any frizz, dryness and adds a lot of healthiness to your locks. Even though it is Curl Reviver, it can be used in any hair. I have natural wave to my hair, but I used it also when I had my hair straight.

It is enriched with Avocado Butter, Kokum Butter and Coconut Butter. It promises to provide hair with moisture, calm frizzing and leave hair looking silky fabulous every day. Now to be honest, it is not entirely natural, but has natural butters as main ingredients.

A little bit of this product goes a long way. You only need to apply few pea sizes to get the perfect effect of it. I have used my little jar for months now and still have plenty of it left.

I apply little amount to damp hair and let it air dry or use a blow dryer. Then after my hair is completely dry, I usually apply little bit more, to give it final touches and smooth down any fly-aways, frizziness or dryness. It makes hair super easy to comb through, very manageable and smooth.

The days when you choose to wear curls, it makes them soft and bouncy even after you abused your hair with hot tools to achieve that perfect curl. This product has been my hair saviour!
