The story behind HOIA home spa products started when lemongrass body scrub got noticed and started living its own life of taking care of many skin problems. Now their line is wider, so that every person with its own preferences can find a scent and formula for their body and senses. Good things do come in pairs and I believe it totally applies to body care.

It is really forgiving when it comes to application, at first you will think you need more, but the smallest amount goes the longest way. I usually put on hair mask for full pampering session. After few minutes rinse it all off. Getting out of your shower you won't need the moisturiser, your skin won't cry for help because of its dryness and tight feeling. Your skin will not be greasy, but thankful for the natural butters and all the blood flow it got out of the scrubbing session you just had!

Like I said before, good things come in pairs. It is good to have a back-up plan when the winter is getting to you and your skin needs a relief, also know and something replenishing and moisturising. HOIA rosewood & avocado body whip is whipped up body balm that feels like mousse to the touch, that will melt to most precious luxurious velvety oil. When applying it will skin right into skin and leave you with the softest skin. My own personal winter preference: to 'bury' myself in it and feel moisturised, itch free, extremely comfortable and relieved without layering another, another and another layer of body lotion on in order to get rid of the dryness.

Time has gone by without any mercy. Therefore I can say I have given my full attention to the products of the Estonian brand Le'Maagi. This is fairly new and maybe little bit unknown. In this case I prefer to say it is underestimate, because the products are fairly simple, yet very powerful.

The product line isn't consisting long list of different products and actually there is no need for it, I find these to be quite universal for every skin type.

The brand has been created in small patches which gives natural touch to everything and makes it that more special. The understanding behind Le'Maagi is that beauty isn't only seen with our eyes, it is around us, inside us, and makes our bodies move, think and feel. They believe that life should be a balance between human and nature, so they created products that are purely natural, not only caring for our skin, but balancing our mood, feeling and state of mind.

Yes, you might think, that you have heard it all, it is nothing special about it. But think again when you are looking your stash of skin care products that each contain full page long list of ingredients you probably can't even pronounce.

It is quite refreshing to switch to the deep cleansing soap that has naturally caring oils in it. Gentle enough to use on face, its smooth caring lather cleanses deeply, yet doesn't leave skin uncomfortably tight. Argan oil is like a miracle for your skin by keeping skin clear and smooth while Palmarosa essential oil is very hydrating, antiseptic, keeps skin's natural moisture balance and its scent helps to fight anxiety, depression and fatigue.

Face Oil definitely has the main role in this game. It is perfect for all skin types, absorbs quickly without unwanted greasy feel, doesn't feel heavy or clogging on skin. The golden oil feels very luxurious and concentrated, so a drop goes very long way. Depending on your skin type or current condition you can always apply more. Containing rosehip seed oil , jojoba oil, hemp oil, carrot oil along with geranium essential oil this face elixir is wonderful at giving skin its natural glow, balancing the oil production while fighting with pigmentation, inflammation and aging process. The scent of geranium relieves stress. I find this face oil being irreplaceable during winter time when skin feels dehydrated, but you don't want suffocate it with heavy creams and emollients.

To top everything you have to take care of lips, especially during cold months. Best option is to choose natural mineral oil free lip balm. This balm with smooth texture and aromatic plum oil cures and protects while giving the pout its natural shine. I still can't get over the so true to life scent of fresh plums.

JOIK Anti-Age line is one of their newest ones on their quite wide skincare department. Products themselves aren't particularly new though, just new to me. Whenever I used their regular skincare before I was quite satisfied with it and didn't even think about switching. Now the time has begun and I have many things to say about these two beautiful bottles in front of you.

JOIK Rejuvenating Night Cream with key ingredients of hyaluronic acid, vitamin B3, echinacea extract, bilberry extract, ginger extract, dandelion juice, primula veris, mallow, lady's mantle, greater plantain, and yarrow extracts, mango butter, hemp seed oil, evening primrose oil. What a long list of goodness! Usually I don't include full active ingredient list into my blog posts, but with this particular one I feel proud. Having tried and tested many, many natural skin care products, I haven't stumbled upon contents so unique and relevant to my home country. This is what JOIK has done, included plant extracts that are local, describe our nordic climate and plants. Imagine my joy when I first got around using this night cream, I immediately got nostalgic and recognised the scent of childhood dandelions.

The cream itself is thicker and feels very concentrated, so really small amount goes a very long way. It may feel greasy to some kin types, but this is where noticing the amount you apply comes into play. I personally love my night creams to be rich and full. When allowing cream to absorb, you can feel slight tingling and circulation staring to work. Just one week into using it, I did notice my skin being less dehydrated, dull and skin tone much more even. This is definitely not just your usual moisturiser, but highly active, cream that really works without being full of chemicals.

JOIK Rejuvenating Eye Cream with coffee, field horsetail extracts, vitamin B3, hyaluronic acid and many more, keeps eye area well-rested while combating puffiness and darkness. While working great under the makeup when applied in the mornings, I especially adore it during the night times, because when I wake up, my eye area is always so smooth, moisturised and definitely brighter. I do recommend giving your eye area a gentle massage when applying it, this ensures you get the most out of its toning, circulating effects and you might even get rid of your dark circles. I am truly enjoying this eye cream's invigorating effect, that is very similar to the night cream, just more gentler like it should be when the eye area comes into play.

Another great Estonian company that creates amazingly pure and natural cosmetics - Moshi right in front of you. But not just 'every other' Estonian company, because Moshi is quite special. It draws attention, brings out emotions, is honestly outspoken yet really affordable. All the bottles of Moshi's products are carrying simple labels with different statements - you can easily find the one that goes by your heart the most or get yourself surprised by having the random one that will inspire you whenever you walk into your bathroom. Moshi states produly: we don't offer colourful pictures or synthetic ingredients. Too good to be true? Not at all!

I picked out two quite different products to write my first post about this sleek yet simple creator of natural beauty. One bottle holds dreamy goodness of softest body scrub and the other brings all the joy to the strands that are in need of a good moisture kick.

Sugary body scrub has been infused with wild mango and the scent of it feels just like walking under the mango trees. You can expect this scrub to nourish and deep condition your skin while gently sloughing off all the dead skin. Sea buckthorn oil along with sesame oil and olive oil, enriched with vitamins, will leave even the driest body silky smooth. Whenever I am using it, I like to take my time and rub it all over my body as long as sugar starts to melt and all the good oils get decent time to absorb into my skin.

Deeply nourishing hair oil ties together coconut oil, avocado oil, lavender and geranium - very simple, yet effective and without any unnecessary fillers that keep the actual goodness away from your hair shaft. This oil is slightly green in colour, due to deeply moisturising rich avocado oil and smells very relaxing due to essential oils of lavender and geranium. Dollop of added natural essential oils will also keep your scalp healthy and on its best behaviour!

Usage of this hair oil is quite similar like you would do with any other hair treatment oils: you can use small amount as a leave-in hair serum on damp ends or you can distribute good amount of oil through the hair and scalp as a pre shampoo treatment. Leave it on for at least 10 minutes (2 forgetful hours in my case) and after washing it off, take your time to admire the softness of your strands.

Bonus tip: use on dry hair as a serum, small amount rubbed between palms will tame away any frizziness or fly-aways. It will also keep your usually dry curls soft and smelling good.

very often delicious snacks aren't that good for your health. Foodpower mixed deliciousness with healthiness together and came up with variety of raw food snacks to anybody's taste. Everything they make is handmade, with quality ingredients and raw. Therefore it contains lots of powerful ingredients that haven't been processed and are ready to go into your body. As Foodpower's taste selection is wide I jumped right into it and tried many, many snacks in a period of time. Now I have picked out three of my favourites with desire to introduce them to you. One of these beautiful red glossy packages holds salty raw snacks and two reveal sweet berry snacks.

Being little bit doubtful at first I didn't expect any of these to be amazingly tasty or something I would eat regularly. Raw, having shortest ingredients list ever (garlic snacks contain flax seeds, cabbage, tomato, garlic, onions and natural seasoning) made me curious, but not sure if it would be something I would enjoy.

And I was certainly surprised! As I adore saltier snacks over the sweet ones I absolutely adore these Foodpower garlic snacks. They have just the right amount of taste and crunch to them, taste of garlic isn't overpowering and while eating you can absolutely forget it contains cabbage or flax seeds. It tastes like any good high quality chips if not even better. Meanwhile you can be confident as you know flax seeds along with other ingredients are healthy, good for metabolism and overall wellbeing. And dollop of garlic will keep those winter time colds and viruses away. Definitely worth having again!

On the sweeter note! I also had blackcurrant roll-ups and blueberry buttons - both seem very similar, yet very different when you taste or even look at them. Roll-ups contain only three ingredients: berries, banana and vanilla. Slight taste of banana kicks in at first, then you can feel the actual taste of berries in a soft texture of the melting fruit roll. It reminded me so much of a real blackcurrants and it was amazing to get the taste of it in your mouth in the middle of the winter.

Buttons on the other hand would suit to the persons who like sweets, but don't want to eat unhealthy while enjoying sugary snacks. These are made of whipped egg whites and real berries along with unrefined sugar. Although it contains sugar, containing 50% of real berries taste didn't feel artificial or too sugary at all. Meringue-like texture gives you the feeling of a guilty pleasure, but after you have finished the package you have the strong aftertaste of berries in your mouth.

If your daily food lacks of good fibre, vitamins, enzymes, minerals along with other powerful ingredients and you can't bring yourself to snacking on fruits or vegetables, these are definitely treats you can munch on without feeling bad or guilty.

Natural Beauty From A Local Fair

Few weeks ago I visited a local fall fair where there was everything from food to clothes and of course, natural handmade cosmetics. This is usually the reason I go into these fairs, so many great and natural brands have come out in Estonia and started their brand by selling the products at the fairs. I have noticed many ones as long as cosmetic products go, but Looduse Pärl (means Nature's Pearl in Estonian) was the one that was unknown for me.

They offered a wide selection of products that included body oils, soaps, body scrubs, face creams, hair products etc. The lady gave me to smell every single body scrub and they all were absolutely delicious. Not to mention the pureness that makes them good enough to eat, I most definitely had a slight urge to taste them. As I was sure I will get the hair serum, I had to think for a minute in order to decide which scrub comes home with me. Decision was hard, because all of them were tempting.

I finally opted for the Strawberry Sugar Scrub With Poppy Seeds and I am more than happy with it. Perfect hair product in addition to the scrub was a Hair Serum With Macadamia & Argan Oil. Both completely handmade, pure, natural, affordable and even if it is not recommended to eat them, they are pure enough to eat. What can be better?

The hair serum comes in high quality pump bottle and holds good 50ml of the product. Serum is a oil based mixture of sweet almond oil, macadamia oil, jojoba oil, argan oil, lemongrass and ylang-ylang.

It is smoothing, healing and softening while also adding much needed moisture to colour treated or dry hair. It adds a natural protection against UV rays and as a bonus gives a perfect fresh zesty scent to the strands. I have so many hair serums and oils as I go through them like crazy. My hair couldn't handle being without additional moisture, may it be a serum or oil. I must admit, I have learned to love not so natural hair serums as they do more to my hair. I know, in this case it is probably superficial as the silicones in synthetic serums create the illusion of healthier hair, but oh well.

This serum changed the game for me! It is like heaven and I have already used good quarter of it and continue until I see the end of it. And then probably order some more. It has the perfect balance of different oils and therefore won't make your hair greasy or flat, but nourishes them into the silky perfection. I add few pumps into damp hair and then let it air dry and it is guaranteed that I won't see any frizz in my hair afterwards. When my hair is dry I add a pump or two to my ends and will rock soft incredibly great smelling hair. Good tip! I usually end up putting more into my palms, so I can rub the extra into my hands and get them perfectly moisturised good smelling.

Strawberry Sugar Scrub comes in a fancy jar you can most definitely reuse after you have finished with it. Hint! Make your own body scrub into it afterwards. As said, it contains sugar that is perfect for dry skin or at times when skin gets drier, fall and winter. It also has red clay that has many minerals to tone and rejuvenate skin while vitamins A, C and E will even out the skin tone and poppy seeds help to get rid of dead skin cells. Strawberry powder has a lot of detoxifying benefits while repairing free radical skin damage, olive oil nourishes and protects skin from further damage.

From the look of it you can imagine how it smells. It smells like freshly picked strawberries! Not only makes it uplifting, but you will definitely be more persistent with your weekly exfoliation as this makes the whole experience so much more joyful. Skin will be soft, smooth and nourished as it is the softest scrub I have tried. Definitely will get some more if I run out, but then I will try the other three they carry: mandarin, grapefruit and chocolate and mint. Yes, chocolate and mint! Can it get better?

I am truly happy I discovered this small company and got few things to try from them. They do deserve so much more exposure as their products seem to be hands down, better than some of the other, more famous, natural brands in Estonia sell. I am also surprised how great the quality is as their prices isn't that high at all. I was little bit disappointed in local handmade natural cosmetics companies, because many of them have become too vain and expensive as soon as they get little more popularity, but this company definitely is a nice refreshing find that gave my hope back.

When you read a blog or two or follow some bloggers on Instagram you probably have seen some kind of teas being published, that all in all promise to cleanse your body. A lot of them won't feel natural enough to actually cleanse your body in a pure way. How can you do good for your system if you are soaking teabags that have been bleached in your tea cup? Yes, bags are easier, but loose tea gives you whole another tea experience. Teazy have come up with 14-day and 28-day detoxing systems and they actually call it 'teatox'. Here are my views on their two week regimen in order to cleanse your body and maybe soul too.

The 14-day teatox comes with two separate boxes. One of them is aluminum tin box that holds loose morning tea and other one is a sleek yet simple cardboard box that holds the night-time tea. These two should work together and complete each other. The promise list of these these are quite long. Teas not only promise to taste pleasant, but also to shake your body in a good way. You should feel more alive, have more energy, sleep better, have faster metabolism, feel less hungry and have a cleansed fresh body. That may or may not be the perfect start to start eating clean and exercising. It is up to you!

Daytime Detox

As mentioned, one tea for morning and other for the night. This loose Daytime Detox is the morning tea and it looks visually absolutely beautiful. It has every colour in it, starting from yellow, green and finishing with the red bits. You need a strainer when doing this tea, but you can always be lazy and wait your tea to set before drinking.

Ingredients wise, it is pretty rich and something for even the neediest tea drinker. It contains mate tea, ginger root, ceylon cinnamon, fennel, vervain, aloe, nettle, red currant leaves, peppermint leaves and ginseng. This concoction has vitamins, minerals, a lot of ingredients to cleanse your body from toxins, boost metabolism and immune system, protect nervous system and give you energy in a natural way.

While I am a true coffee lover I didn't gave up my morning coffee, but this tea still had a solid place in my day. I usually drank it around the afternoon when I felt I needed another caffeine fix to carry on. This tea tastes amazing and I can imagine it being great option instead a morning coffee. It didn't give unnatural and immediate energy boost, rather much needed strength. It didn't upset the stomach, but at the same time you could feel your metabolism being a lot faster. In few days of drinking this tea many usual cravings, especially the unhealthy ones, will be gone. I associate this with getting the much needed nutrients and minerals from the tea and therefore my body is more satisfied. Unfortunately cravings will come back when you stop drinking the tea, but that is normal, because we are human. I am also pretty sure that this tea helped with my skin clearing up. Because of this I have been foundation free more than usual.

Bedtime Cleanse

Bedtime Cleanse is the tea for the evening. It is just the right tea to have before going to bed. As it is pretty powerful, you will get seven bags in the 14-day teatox. So every other night is the proper way to consume it. As you can see the bedtime tea comes in little handmade bag that won't affect the taste or quality of the tea. These bags were put together so nicely I was actually sad to use them up. Like loose tea, it contains more than couple of ingredients and all these pure herbs are meant to ensure you good sleep and rest. It also cleanses the body, blood and liver, helps to digest and fight with stress, gives a boost of anti-oxidants and minerals.

This tea had a lot more neutral taste to it. It wasn't as fruity or zestful, but rather comforting and calming. How it affected me? I didn't knock me off immediately, but set the perfect mind and mood for going to bed. Few times it helped me with the sore throat and a headache. Overall I did sleep like any other night, but noticed waking up earlier so I can imagine I needed less sleep to get rested. Not to mention I am usually the one who needs so much sleep in order to feel myself decent. Surprising!

In conclusion I would recommend it to everybody who needs a little pick me up in their health department. It am sure it won't harm you, make you feel bad or leave you unimpressed. These teas have to be the most multifunctional I have tried. If you can't feel one certain effect it promised, there's still whole list of things you can experience and be pleasantly surprised. It is also powerful, yet so gentle and caring to ensure you feel yourself your best.

Deep Cleansing with LUMI Skincare

These gems are LUMI bioactive skincare, based on the hemp seed oil that is known to be extremely beneficial for the skin, has been created with the principle to create a cosmetic line that is safe yet effective. Hemp seed oil is suitable for every skin type, but especially great for sensitive and problematic skin types. LUMI skin and body care range is quite wide, but only few days ago they let out two brand new products that form their cleansing line.

The idea is to double cleanse to ensure you have a perfect clean canvas for your skincare products. Double cleaning isn't that new thing when considering skincare, but depending on the products it may be really harsh on skin's natural protective layer.

LUMI has created two products that go hand in hand to give a perfectly deep cleansed skin while not disturbing skin at all. At first I was thinking these products may be too gentle to some major cleansing, especially when wearing makeup, but I was wrong. These two clean better than any regular foaming face washes would do!

Makeup Removing:

First step in deep cleansing should be removing any makeup and dirt from the skin that your skin has caught during the day. This is a perfect job for LUMI Makeup Removing Milk that is a thicker cream meant to melt off even the sturdiest makeup. It is so gentle, yet gets everything out of pores and around the eyes. It doesn't have any distinctive scent, so this is a product you can smear all over your face with confidence and with no worries it getting in your eyes. Depending on the amount of makeup I wear, I apply about one pump of product all over my dry face and start massaging it in. Then I wet my hands and continue. This the time when the texture of the cleanser turns milky and you can actually see your makeup melting out of your pores. After you have done a good cleanse, you just wash everything off with warm water. As you can get everything off with so little time, the makeup removing process has never been so satisfying and easy.

Cleansing:

After that it is time to the actual cleansing, removing the dirt that may be hiding deep down in the pores and exfoliating dead skin cells. LUMI Moisturising Cleansing Milk is a product that is more milky in texture and has a yellowish shade to it. To get evenly distributed product, it is best to shake the bottle before pumping it on your palm. Again, one pump is more than enough to clean whole face and neck area. The process of rubbing this goodness all over the face and massaging it in your pores is heavenly. It contains lactic acid and gentle cleansing complex that ensures deep cleanse, minus the harshness. Lactic acid is known for removing dead skin cells and impurities very gently. Bioactive herbal extracts will soothe the tired skin and support cell renewal. Afterwards you just need to rinse it off with warm water and you are left with clean smooth face that is ready for moisturising. There will be no tight feeling yet no greasy residue at all. Skin will be balanced, clean and so comfortable.

Whenever I feel I need to clean out my pores and problem areas even more, I let this cleanser sit on my skin few minutes before rinsing it off. It works magic on my pores and makes them clean, appear smaller and smoother.

Overall I think everyone who has even slightest skin issues should step aside from harsh cleansers and look into something like LUMI does. When choosing these cleansers you won't have to give up on completely clean finish you like after you have washed your skin. These ones are so effective and at the same time their gentle ingredients won't aggravate any more skin problems like redness, blemishes or sensitivity. Considering the price point, the amount you get and the concentration of the products, it isn't a splurge, but rather nice thing to do for your skin.

Brand called Domina Elegans is fairly new, but already quite well known and awarded natural beauty brand from Estonia. It has been created by doctors and scientists who believe that the best inspiration and ingredients come from nature. Their skincare philosophy is to give the skin all that it needs to be healthy and radiant, and to pamper it softly without synthetic preservatives and only the best components from the nature.

As you can see I have Domina Elegans 4D Universal Revitalising Face Cream from their Natural Beauty line. What makes this cream so special and to stand out from the others in the market is patented natural emulsion HYDRESIA® (safflower oleosomes), cold-pressed natural oils, silk protein and Dead Sea minerals that promise to regenerate and revitalise the cellular structure of the skin by promoting skin cell metabolism and collagen synthesis.

I have used this cream day and night for couple of months now and am absolutely in love with it. But this love relationship didn't come easy for me! When I first got it I fell in love with its refreshing yet natural scent, almost reminds me fresh cucumbers. During the time I noticed this cream makes a beautiful base for a makeup and can also be applied around the eyes. It takes care of the tired and dull skin immediately and also gives the instant relief to my allergies and puffiness around eyes, also due to allergies.

Overall I believe that everyone could benefit from this cream, hence the name 'Universal'. When your skin is oilier it really needs some nourishment and hydration to calm the oil production down and this face cream would be perfect one to do that! When your skin is drier, give this cream some time to adjust with your needs and you won't regret it.

Continuing with the '100% natural Estonian skincare' topic I must introduce you to Jovely Naturals. It is fairly unknown and new to me, but as much as I have used a selection of their products I must say it is a shame I didn't have their gems in my home before. The fact that most of their products are 100% natural and everything is made and packed by hand is always a good sign. Their pure mission is to rise their customers awareness of natural products and why it is important to look what you put on your body. One more reason besides simple yet classy packaging why I am in love with Jovely Naturals.

I decided first to talk about their two facial oils. They have three different ones in their collection, but I have these two: one for oily skin type and one for normal to combination skin type. And I like them both for various reasons.

Jovely Naturals Facial Oil for Oily Skin comes with a sleek white label and a handy pump bottle. It holds 30ml of pure blend of different oils that oily and problematic skin can benefit from. It is especially formulated to balance the skin's oil production while hydrating and nourishing it without clogging pores. Its light texture is perfect for oilier skin types as it sinks right into skin without leaving it greasy but silky smooth instead. I love its refreshing scent of good essential oils that feel so relaxing and comforting while applying it on face. Lavender, geranium and tea tree oils make definitely a perfect mix for skin and senses. This is the oil I have used for over a month now every single morning and my skin absolutely loves. It has cleared up a lot and my makeup goes so smooth over such a hydrated and balanced skin.

Jovely Naturals Facial Oil for Normal and Combination Skin has been a great addition to the previous facial oil. First I used the facial oil for oily skin type at nights, but then decided that I like more heavier moisture on my skin before going to bed. As my skin isn't actually oily, but rather combination, this was a perfect solution for it. As I said I use it in the evenings and as it is richer and moisturises even more it still doesn't leave any suffocating residue on skin. Grape seed oil along with super nurturing avocado oil and jojoba oil sink right in and you can actually feel how your skin is happier, a lot more calmer and smoother. Again, it smells divine, but a lot more warmer and gentler than the first one: geranium essential oil pairs up with rosemary oil perfectly by creating perfect blend for night time.

Overall I am so impressed with the quality and price range with these facial oils. This proves once again that good luxurious skincare doesn't have to be pricy. Vice versa, these one definitely do contain more and higher levels of good nutrients for your skin than a lot of expensive over the counter face creams would do.
